Hagiggah.org will endeavor to limit access to application information to individuals and organizations with a legitimate need for that information.

Applicants should avoid submitting Social Security numbers, complete financial account numbers, medical information, or other highly sensitive personal information unless Hagiggah.org specifically requests the information and provides an appropriate secure method for submitting it.

  1. CALIFORNIA "DO NOT TRACK" DISCLOSURE

Some Web browsers provide a "Do Not Track" ("DNT") setting that communicates a user's preference regarding online tracking.

Because there is not a universally accepted technical standard governing how Web sites must respond to traditional browser DNT signals, our Web site may not respond to DNT signals.

Hagiggah.org does not intend to use information collected through its Web site for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Where applicable technology and law require recognition of legally binding browser-based privacy preference signals, Hagiggah.org will endeavor to honor such signals as required by applicable law.

Those providers may collect information through cookies or similar technologies when users interact with the Web site.

Hagiggah.org will endeavor to configure third-party services consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy requirements.

We encourage users to review the privacy policies of third-party services with which they interact.

  1. E-MAIL COMMUNICATIONS

Individuals who voluntarily provide an e-mail address may receive communications from Hagiggah.org concerning programs, events, fundraising, organizational activities, grants, scholarships, or other matters.

Marketing or fundraising e-mail communications will provide an appropriate method for recipients to unsubscribe from future communications of that type.

Unsubscribing from promotional or fundraising communications will not necessarily prevent Hagiggah.org from sending transactional, administrative, legal, donation-related, application-related, or other non-promotional communications where appropriate.

  1. DATA SECURITY

Hagiggah.org uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, acquisition, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure. Such safeguards may include, as appropriate:

● Restricted access to sensitive information;
● Secure third-party payment processing;
● Software and security updates;
● Data backup procedures; and
● Appropriate security practices by service providers.

No Internet transmission, electronic storage system, or information-security system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, Hagiggah.org cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted through or stored by the Web site.

If Hagiggah.org becomes aware of a security breach involving personal information, we will investigate and provide notifications as required by applicable Federal and California law.

  1. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Hagiggah.org retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or as necessary to:

● Administer our programs;
● Maintain donor and financial records;
● Meet tax and accounting requirements;
● Maintain grant and scholarship records;
● Comply with legal and regulatory obligations;
● Resolve disputes;
● Protect legal rights;
● Prevent fraud and security incidents; and
● Comply with Hagiggah.org's document retention requirements.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary and no legal or organizational requirement justifies its retention, Hagiggah.org will endeavor to securely delete, destroy, or anonymize it.

Information concerning children subject to COPPA will not be retained longer than reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, consistent with applicable law.

  1. THIRD-PARTY WEB SITES AND SERVICES
